For the past 33 years, the Tau Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® has proudly served the Santa Monica area with an unwavering commitment to service, sisterhood, and social impact. Our chapter remains deeply engaged in uplifting the community—ranging from youth to seniors—through meaningful programs and partnerships. From consistent volunteerism with the Figueroa Senior Center for the past 20 years to mentoring young leaders, we are dedicated to creating lasting connections across generations.

In addition to our youth initiatives, we are committed to environmental stewardship through beach cleanups, tree planting, and workshops on sustainability. We also prioritize health and wellness by providing educational workshops on lupus, diabetes, and mental health resources. Our chapter is passionate about supporting Black businesses, both within our chapter and throughout the surrounding areas. The Tau Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® continues to lead with love and purpose—bridging generations and building a stronger, more resilient Santa Monica community, one act of service at a time.
